Adding own drugs

Note

Before creating an own drug, ensure that an entry does not already exist in the picking list. You must ensure that you meet all legislative requirements related to possession, storage and supply of Schedule 1-4 CDs that are added. Note that clinical decision support will not be available for own drugs.

Complete the Add Own Drugs window to add a new own drug. You can capture the drug's Price, No. of Fees and more.

1. To begin, open the Own Drugs Manager by selecting the Management dropdown menu from the left-nav and the Own Drugs Manager menu item.

2. Select the [Add - F2] button.
3. The Add Own Drug window displays. Complete all fields as required.

Note

Fields marked with an * are mandatory and must be completed.

Tip

You can use the [Add Warning - F3] button to open a Warning Search window where you can select warnings to add into the Warning text box. You can append multiple warnings using this button.

4. Once complete, select the [Confirm - F10] button. You're returned to the Own Drugs Manager and your newly added drug displays in the grid.
