NMS Videos
Provide extra support to your patients with long term conditions and improve medication adherence with our New Medicine Service (NMS) module. Initiate the NMS, edit consultations, print GP referrals and generate your quarterly claims reports.
To access the NMS Manager, select the Management dropdown menu from the left-nav and the NMS Manager menu item.

Dispensing NMS items
You will be prompted for all eligible NMS items by Apotec CRM after the Hand Out stage of the Dispensing Wizard.
Completing the Engagement stage
NMS consultations are completed via the New Medicine Service consultation window.
Completing the Intervention stage
Use our streamlined questionnaire to identify problems and determine your patients' need for additional support.
Completing the Follow Up stage
Use our streamlined questionnaire to identify problems and determine your patients' need for additional support.
Editing NMS consultations
Once you have completed an NMS stage, you may need to make some changes.
You are able to edit elements of your completed NMS consultations, but once the next stage has been completed access to any fields that could cause conflict with other stages of the NMS are disabled e.g., Medication Eligibility. Eligibility cannot be changed from Yes to No once the Intervention has been completed.

Reinstating NMS consultations
You can reinstate an NMS at the Engagement stage at any time by selecting the Reinstate icon on the Declined tab.
Running NMS claim reports
You can generate an NMS claim report to obtain an indication of the number of completed NMS that you have completed/can claim for within a given financial quarter/year.
