Marking items as Stopped

You can mark items as Stopped in the patient record. Stopped items will display with a STOPPED badge in the patient's Medication History.

Note

If you receive a new prescription for items marked as Stopped, you will be asked if you want to restart the item during dispensing. You can learn more about marking items as Stopped and restarting items in our Marking items as Stopped article.

  1. To begin, from any module within Apotec CRM, type the patient's surname into the Search bar and press [Enter] on the keyboard. Highlight the patient in the search results.
  2. Select the [View Patient - F3] button. The patient's CRM displays.

  1. Highlight the item you wish to mark as Stopped in the Medication History.

  1. Select the adjacent Stopped icon. A Stopped Item prompt displays asking you to confirm if you want to mark the item as Stopped in the patient record.

  1. Select the [Yes - F10] button. The item is marked as Stopped and displays with a STOPPED badge in the patient's Medication History.
Tip

You can restart Stopped items by double-clicking on the STOPPED badge in the patient's Medication History and confirming that the item has been restarted when prompted.
