Sending and exporting eMAR

Sending and exporting electronic Medication Administration Records (eMAR) allows for sharing and transfer of medication records between healthcare providers. You can send and export eMAR from the MDS Manager or the patient MDS tab if an eMAR Type has been configured in the Nursing Home/Community patient's settings.

Note

Only items flagged to have the MAR Chart (M) printed will be sent on your eMAR transmission(s).

Note

After completing any printing or exporting tasks in MDS, a status badge is applied (Printed, eMAR exported or eMAR Failed). You can remove these badges by selecting the [Edit Cycle Start Date – F5] button and then use the Resets options provided. Check out our Monitored Dosage System (MDS) FAQ’s for a list of patient badges and their descriptions. Or learn more about editing cycle dates using our Editing cycle dates article.
