Withdrawing dispense notifications (DNs)

If required, you can withdraw your dispense notification(s). This is carried out within the To Be Claimed tab of the Workflow module.

Note

You will need to authenticate a valid NHS smartcard before you can withdraw a dispense notification. You can learn how to authenticate your smartcard in our Smartcard authentication article.

1. To begin, select the To Be Claimed tab in Workflow by selecting Workflow from the left-nav and the To Be Claimed tab.

Tip

Select the Claim filter tab to view all scripts waiting for claims to be sent. You can select multiple scripts to process as a batch.

2. Select your patient(s) and prescription(s) in the DN Success status that need to be withdrawn and then select the [Withdraw DN - F4] button. The Withdraw Dispense Notification Reason window displays.
3. Select a reason for withdrawing the DN from the dropdown box.

4. Once you've made your selection, select the [OK - F10] button. The prescription widget will update confirming the dispense notification has been withdrawn successfully.
