Batch Scan

Use the guides below to learn how to use the Batch Scan functionality in Workflow. Each article will walk you through all the steps to perform batch actions to:

• Download new EPS prescriptions
• Return prescriptions to the NHS Spine
• Send your DN and Claim notifications

You can access the Batch Scan function from the following tabs in Workflow:

• To Be Claimed

Note

You will need to authenticate a valid NHS smartcard before you can use the Batch Scan functionality. You can learn how to authenticate your smartcard in our Smartcard authentication article.

Sending dispense notifications (DNs)

After a prescription has been fulfilled and collected by the patient it is necessary to send a dispense notification.

Sending claims

After your dispense notification(s) (DNs) have been sent, you can claim reimbursement by sending a claim to the NHS Prescription Services.
